Voices Book Discussion

To further the recognition of black people’s humanity and encourage an actively antiracist community.

Voices Book Discussion.“White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo.

September 20th, 2 pm - 3 pm EST

Tickets: https://www.thecommunityco.org/event-tickets/voices-book-discussion

Coop is a part of establishing a conversation based on openness across experiences. We found that you see black people talking with black people and white people talking with white people, but rarely is there a conversation with white people and black people. We want to help open that discussion even further in a way that sheds light on ignorance, encourages truth, and recognizes the humanity of black people as well as all people of color.

The book discussion will be one hour with time for Q&A after.

*Coop is an inclusive community that emphasizes shared understanding values and varied experiences. Free tickets available from our “Pay it Forward” program. Select $0 in the drop-down menu.

Pay if you can, don’t if you can’t with your new “Pick Your Price” drop-down for digital events. Consider the “Pay it Forward” option in the Coop Shop to help offset other free admissions. If not this time then consider purchasing a block next time.
