Build community-centered projects with Coop.

The Community Cooperative helps individuals, organizations, groups, and small businesses design and run community-focused programs, events, and projects that strengthen relationships with their audiences and support meaningful business or organizational goals.

This can include launching new ideas, improving engagement with existing communities, or creating entirely new experiences that intentionally bring people together.

If you’re building something and want to shape how people actually experience it, I’d love to hear more.

Areas of Support:

  • Pop-ups + community events

  • Community programs, workshops, and recurring series

  • Pop-up events, activations, and public experiences

  • Engagement strategy (how people find, join, and return)

  • Project and concept development for new initiatives

  • Audience growth and participation design

  • Cultural programming

  • Creative direction for gatherings or experiences

Who This Is For.

I’m especially interested in working with:

  • Small businesses and local brands

  • Nonprofits and community-based organizations

  • Individuals launching community-driven ideas

  • Groups building programs, clubs, or recurring gatherings

  • Cultural, educational, or civic initiatives

  • Experimental or place-based projects

  • Community organizations

  • People experimenting with new cultural or gathering-based ideas

How I Work.

Every project is different, so collaborations are scoped based on needs, timeline, and level of involvement.

Engagements may include:

  • One-time strategy or planning sessions

  • Short-term project or event development support

  • Design of community programs or projects

  • Ongoing partnership for multi-event or seasonal work

Some collaborations may also include shared revenue models for events or programs we build together. You can explore the different partnership tabs for my past collaborations. Here are some examples to explore.

  1. Online Theatre Production. Keeping theatre alive even during a global pandemic with Recasting the Movies.

  2. Popup Book Markets. Building a sustainable local book market based primarily on donated items, affordable books for sale, and community collaboration through revenue sharing.

  3. Local Charm Community Expo. Community club fair, where you can actually try out all the clubs right there for free. There are so many fun and interesting clubs in the Baltimore area!
